Gatineau Valley Youth Skating Program
A fun and supportive program that helps kids build confidence on the ice, one stride at a time.
Where young skaters find their stride.
Open to kids aged 3–8, this 12-session program builds skating skills through fun games and guided instruction. With local volunteers and Paugan Falls Rapids players joining each week, kids learn in a fun, supportive environment that boosts confidence and balance on the ice.
Ages: 3–8
Schedule: Thursdays, 6:00 PM – 6:50 PM
Sessions: 12 classes
Dates: November 12, 2026 to February 11, 2027
Instructors: Local volunteers + 2 Rapids players each week
Equipment needed: Skates and a helmet required
Cost: $100 per participant
Registration: Registation will be open between September 20 and September 30, 2026. Form will be posted on Low Folks Facebook Page or can be requested by contacting us by email at GVYSkatingProgram@gmail.com.
